Adam Midden, Baseball Instructor Welcomed to Ozzie’s

baseball_adam_mAdam is excited to join the Ozzie Smith Sports Academy as a baseball and speed instructor.  He joins us from Springfield, IL where he played high school ball Sacred Heart-Griffin.  There, he helped lead summer travel team to the 2009 Diamond Sports Promotions World Series.  From 2010-2012 he played Junior College baseball at IL Central College in Peoria, IL.  In Spring/Summer of 2013 Adam received interest from many Division 2 and 3 programs including Southern Indiana, Drury, St. Thomas (MN), and Adrian College.  However after two major sports related injuries in two year, his baseball career was put on hold.

baseball_adam_m2Adam currently plays college baseball for the SIUE Baseball Club team. He hit over .440 in 2014 with an 0.00 ERA as a reliever and closer.  Adam also plays semi-professional baseball for the O’Fallon Blaze.  In addition, he has played with and against numerous MLB Draft pics and players.

Before coming to Ozzie’s Adam worked with a 13-14U travel team and an 18U travel team.  Many of the kids he worked with have or will go onto play college baseball.  Adam is looking forward to getting to know you and your baseball player!  Stop by or give us a call to set up a coaching session with Adam.
